Lock Out Tag Out
This program will provide students with an in-depth knowledge of lifting, rigging, and overhead cranes, to enable them to perform lifting operations specific to their environment in accordance with local regulations and industry standards. It is ideally suited for operators lifting a variety of loads with different rigging configurations. Nova Scotia participants completing this program will be credited 250 hours toward the practical requirement for the provincial overhead crane operator license.

The program is a combination of theory and practical training. A minimum of 50% of the time is dedicated to practical hands-on experience. Students are evaluated by means of a written test and a practical evaluation. Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate will be issued.
