• Calculating the center of gravity of complex and irregular shaped loads

• Managing loads on horizontal rigging and inclined planes

• Load drifting using chain falls and lever hoists, and calculating load weight changes and impact

• Rigging to apply mechanical advantage

• Using clamps, magnets, and lifting devices for specialized rigging scenarios

• Flipping and turning heavy loads safely

• Coordinating multi-crane lifts

• Safe blocking, cribbing, jacking, and rolling techniques

• Understanding signaller and tag line path management

• Practical training

Program Format

This 4-day course involves classroom theory, live demonstrations, and practical training. Students are evaluated via a written exam and practical training exercises. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion.
