Course Overview

The Fall Protection course prepares students to work safely at heights by combining theoretical knowledge with classroom demonstrations. This program meets and exceeds provincial and federal regulations. It is ideal for workers in construction, industrial maintenance, and other elevated work environments. Participants will learn how to select proper fall protection systems and equipment, calculate fall distances, and implement effective fall protection plans and procedures.

  • Calculating fall distance and clearance

  • Proper donning and fit of full-body harnesses

Program Format

This 1-day course includes classroom-based theory and demonstrations. Students are tested via a written exam. Upon successful completion, a certificate valid for 3 years is issued. 

Please note this course is not available in Newfoundland & Labrador.
