Course Overview

The Overhead Crane Operator training course provides participants with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to perform lifting operations using overhead cranes in a variety of workplace environments. Designed to meet the CSA B167 and ASME B30 safety standards, this course is ideal for operators handling a wide range of rigging configurations and load types. Training emphasizes hazard awareness, equipment inspection, load control, and safe crane operation practices.

Program Format

This 5-day course includes classroom theory, live demonstrations and practical training exercises. Students are evaluated via a written exam and practical evaluation. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion.
