Product Description

The Petzl GRILLON (SKU L052AA00) is a 2 m adjustable work positioning lanyard designed to create comfortable and secure work positioning systems as a complement to a fall arrest system. The lanyard's length can be very easily and precisely adjusted as needed, allowing the worker to fine-tune their position at the work station for maximum comfort and efficiency during extended tasks at height. Depending on the configuration, the GRILLON can be used in single or double mode, providing versatility for a wide range of positioning applications on structures, poles, towers, and other elevated work stations.

Constructed from nylon, polyester, and aluminum components, the GRILLON is engineered for durability and reliable performance in demanding industrial, utility, and construction environments. The self-braking mechanism allows the worker to adjust their working length quickly and securely without the need for additional tools or hardware. The 2 m length provides a compact configuration suited for applications where a shorter working reach is preferred or required. The GRILLON is also available in black and in seven lengths — 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, and 20 m — to accommodate the full range of working configurations and structural environments encountered in professional work-at-height applications.

The GRILLON is certified to North American, European, and Russian standards, including ANSI Z359.3, CSA Z259.11, CE EN 358, CE EN 12841 Type C, EAC, and UKCA, making it suitable for use across multiple regulatory jurisdictions. As with all life safety equipment, the GRILLON must be inspected before each use for signs of wear, damage, or deformation, and retired from service at the end of its service life or if any defects are identified.
