Product Description

The Petzl GRILLON HOOK (SKU L052CA00) is a 2 m adjustable work positioning lanyard designed to create comfortable and secure work positioning systems as a complement to a fall arrest system. The lanyard's length can be very easily and precisely adjusted as needed, allowing the worker to fine-tune their position at the work station for maximum comfort and efficiency during extended tasks at height. The integrated HOOK connector on the harness side is specifically designed for use in double mode, allowing the lanyard to be attached to two harness side attachment points simultaneously for enhanced stability and versatility in positioning applications.

Constructed from nylon, polyester, and aluminum components, the GRILLON HOOK is engineered for durability and reliable performance in demanding industrial, utility, and construction environments. The self-braking mechanism allows the worker to adjust their working length quickly and securely without the need for additional tools or hardware. The HOOK connector design simplifies attachment and detachment at the harness side, making it practical for workers who frequently reposition or transition between anchor points during a work shift.

The GRILLON HOOK is certified to North American and European standards, including ANSI Z359.3, CSA Z259.11, CE EN 358, CE EN 12841 Type C, EAC, and UKCA, making it suitable for use across multiple regulatory jurisdictions. It is available in four lengths — 2, 3, 4, and 5 m — to accommodate a wide range of working configurations and structural environments. As with all life safety equipment, the GRILLON HOOK must be inspected before each use for signs of wear, damage, or deformation, and retired from service at the end of its service life or if any defects are identified.
