Coffing C202WNB and C404WNB cable ratchet lever hoists are manually operated wire rope hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, and positioning loads. Both models provide a 17 ft Lift and a 20 in minimum distance between hooks. The C202WNB has a 3/4 Ton load capacity and 20-3/4 in operating lever, while the C404WNB has a 1 Ton load capacity and 25-1/4 in operating lever. Both product records identify compatibility with single- and double-line reeving arrangements.

Lightweight cast aluminum and zinc-alloy housings provide a rugged structure for construction, commercial, maintenance, and industrial applications. The hoists use preformed, galvanized, extra-flexible aircraft cable, along with stainless steel shafts and springs for added resistance to corrosion. Rotating shafts are supported by bronze bushings to help reduce friction and operating wear.

A double-interlocking pawl mechanism provides positive load holding by maintaining engagement with at least one pawl throughout operation. Multiple pawl stops support controlled incremental load adjustment, while the winding wheel allows faster unloaded cable take-up and initial positioning. Open construction simplifies inspection and cleaning, and 360-degree swivelling hooks with retaining latches support attachment from different rigging angles. The operating handle is designed to bend as an overload warning before a hazardous load is transferred to the internal mechanism.
