Product Description

The Coffing JLC Electric Chain Hoist is a compact powered lifting unit engineered for heavy-duty industrial service and precise load positioning. The single-reeved configurations shown range from 0.125 Ton to 1 Ton capacities, with 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options and lifting speeds of 16 or 32 FPM. Available electrical configurations include 115 VAC, 115/230 VAC and 230/460 VAC, depending on the selected model.

Lightweight die-cast aluminum alloy housings provide portable, easy-to-install construction while protecting the mechanical and electrical components. An oil-bath transmission with precision-machined, heat-treated alloy steel gearing supports smooth, quiet operation and dependable lubrication. A multiple-disc motor brake provides positive stopping and secure load holding, while an integrated mechanical overload device helps protect the hoist and supporting structure against damaging overloads, chain jamming and reverse phasing.

The JLC uses adjustable upper and lower limit switches to regulate load travel and a five-pocket load sheave to increase chain engagement for smoother lifting and reduced chain wear. Its ergonomic NEMA 3R pushbutton station supports convenient one-handed control, leaving the operator’s other hand available to guide the load when appropriate. A durable chain container is standard on single-reeved models with lifting heights up to 20 ft.
