Coffing CTA manual plain trolleys are push-operated units designed to provide smooth horizontal movement of a suspended hoist and load along a compatible overhead beam. Available in capacities from 1/4 to 5 Ton, they allow loads to be positioned without a trolley motor, gearing, or hand-chain drive. The adjustable design accommodates multiple beam sizes and is suitable for industrial lifting, maintenance, fabrication, assembly, and material-handling systems.

The 1/4 through 3 Ton configurations shown fit beam flange widths from 3.33 to 7 in and beam heights from 6 to 18 in, with a 48 in minimum-radius curve. These models use four-wheel construction. The 4 and 5 Ton configurations shown fit flange widths from 4 to 7 in and beam heights from 8 to 18 in and are intended for straight-track installations. Their eight-wheel construction distributes the suspended load across additional wheel-contact points.

Fully machined dual-tread wheels allow the trolley to operate on compatible tapered-flange American Standard beams or flat-flange wide beams. Permanently lubricated, shielded precision ball bearings support low rolling resistance and require minimal routine lubrication. Wrap-around side plates incorporate safety lugs that provide additional wheel protection and act as bumpers, while the universal clevis accepts compatible Coffing hook-mounted hoists or lug-mounted hoists attached directly to the load pins.
