Product Description

Crosby HR-125 UNC Thread Swivel Hoist Rings are designed to provide a strong, adjustable lifting point for overhead lifting applications, allowing loads to rotate and align naturally during lifting operations.
These hoist rings feature a 360° swivel and 180° pivot, ensuring full load alignment and significantly reducing side loading compared to traditional eye bolts. They are ideal for machinery handling, fabrication, and industrial lifting applications where multi-directional lifting is required.

Material:
Body: Alloy steel (quenched and tempered)

Series: Crosby HR-125 UNC Thread Swivel Hoist Rings.

Material: All components are quenched and tempered alloy steel.

Movement: 360° swivel and 180° pivot action. Designed for use at full Working Load Limit within the allowable angular loading range.

Identification: Each hoist ring carries a Product Identification Code (PIC) for material traceability along with the Working Load Limit and Crosby or CG identification. The top washer is red for UNC-thread identification and is permanently marked with the Working Load Limit and recommended installation torque.

Bolt Specification: Alloy socket head cap screw manufactured to ASTM A574. Bolts are individually proof tested. Frame 8 uses a hex-head bolt.

Proof Load: Individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification.

Fatigue Rating: Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit.

Finish: Frames 1 through 5 are zinc plated with yellow chromate. Frames 6 through 8 have a black oxide finish.

Compliance: Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASME B30.26, including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements.

Replacement Parts: The bolt is retained with an E-clip and the threads are grooved to permit disassembly and reassembly for inspection. Replacement bolt kits are available for the models identified in the table.

Design Factor: 5:1 unless otherwise marked.

*: 4.5:1 design factor when tested in a 90-degree orientation.

†: Long-bolt models are designed for use with soft-metal workpieces, such as aluminum. Long bolts may also be used with ferrous-metal workpieces such as steel and iron; short bolts are designed for ferrous workpieces only.
