The Crosby S-1316AH SHUR-LOC Handle Eye Hook is a heavy-duty self-locking lifting hook designed to provide secure load attachment with improved handling and operator control. Its integrated handle gives the user a dedicated gripping point for guiding and positioning the hook, while the large handle opening is designed to comfortably accommodate a gloved hand.

The SHUR-LOC positive locking latch automatically locks when the hook is loaded, helping maintain a secure connection during lifting operations. A replaceable pull-trigger provides convenient latch release, while a recessed secondary side trigger helps reduce the chance of accidental opening. The ergonomic handle design supports easier hook control when connecting, positioning, or releasing loads.

Manufactured from forged alloy steel and quenched and tempered for strength and durability, the S-1316AH is rated for use with both wire rope and Grade 80 or Grade 100 alloy chain. Each hook is individually proof tested at 2-1/2 times the Grade 100 chain Working Load Limit with certification and is fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit. Available sizes range from 5/8 through 1 in chain, with capacity dependent on the selected hook size.
