Product Description

The Crosby A-330 Clevis Grab Hook is a heavy-duty chain fitting designed for secure connection to Grade 8 alloy chain in lifting, rigging, and load-handling applications. Its clevis-style attachment provides quick and straightforward installation directly into compatible chain, while the grab-hook profile is designed to engage a chain link for shortening, tensioning, or securing an assembly.

Forged from high-strength steel and quenched and tempered for increased strength and durability, the A-330 is built for demanding industrial service. The hook features Crosby’s traditional gold/yellow alloy-style finish, providing the correct appearance for this product rather than the red finish used on some other Crosby hardware.

A 4:1 design factor supports dependable use in properly configured assemblies. Available sizes range from 1/4 to 3/4 in chain, with working load limits increasing according to chain size. Selected A-330 models are forged with an “8” designation identifying Grade 80 compatibility.
