Product Description

Crosby HR-1000 UNC Thread Swivel Hoist Rings are designed for heavy-duty lifting applications, providing a strong, adjustable lifting point that allows loads to rotate and align naturally during lifting.
These hoist rings feature a 360° swivel and 180° pivot, ensuring proper load alignment and significantly reducing side loading compared to traditional eye bolts. They are ideal for industrial lifting, fabrication, and machinery handling where flexibility and strength are critical.

Material:
Body: Alloy steel (quenched and tempered)
Bolt: High-strength alloy socket head cap screw (Grade 12.9 / ASTM A574)
Finish: Corrosion-resistant coating

Specifications:
UNC (imperial) threaded design
360° swivel and 180° pivot action for full load alignment
Rated at 100% Working Load Limit at 90° angle
Working Load Limit range: approx. 5,000 lb and higher depending on size
5:1 design factor (ultimate strength = 5× WLL)
Individually proof tested to 2–2.5× WLL with certification
Fatigue rated for 20,000 cycles at 1.5× WLL
Washer is color-coded (red) for UNC thread identification

Series: Crosby HR-1000 Heavy Lift Swivel Hoist Rings with UNC Threads.

Construction: Forged bail with raised Crosby/CG identification and PIC material traceability markings. The forged bail provides increased toughness and a larger opening than a standard hoist-ring bail.

Identification: UNC-thread HR-1000 models use a red color-coded top washer. The Working Load Limit and recommended torque are permanently stamped into the washer.

Bolt Specification: UNC models use an alloy socket head cap screw manufactured to ASTM A574.

Proof Load: Individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit.

Design Factor: 5:1 unless otherwise marked.

*: 4.5:1 design factor when tested in a 90-degree orientation.

†: Long-bolt models are designed for use with soft-metal workpieces, such as aluminum.
