The 3M Protecta PRO Pack Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a personal fall arrest lanyard engineered to provide reliable fall protection for workers at height in construction, industrial maintenance, and other elevated work applications. The integrated shock absorber pack deploys during a fall event, extending to reduce the peak arrest force transmitted to the worker's body and harness to within the limits specified by applicable fall protection standards, minimizing the risk of injury during fall arrest by limiting the forces applied to the worker's spine, harness attachment points, and anchor system. The shock absorber pack is contained within a protective cover that keeps the pack clean and intact until deployment is required during a fall event.

At 6 ft length, this is the standard fall arrest lanyard length widely used across construction, industrial maintenance, steel erection, roofing, scaffolding, and general work at height applications.
