The 6 ft Pro Web Positioning Lanyard is a fall protection accessory engineered for use in work positioning applications where a worker must be supported in a fixed position at height to perform tasks with both hands free. At 6 ft in length, this positioning lanyard provides the reach required to wrap around structural members, poles, towers, or other anchor structures and connect back to the worker's harness positioning D-rings, holding the worker securely against the structure at the desired working position.

Unlike fall arrest lanyards which are designed to stop a fall after it occurs, a positioning lanyard is used to hold the worker in place against a structure or work surface, allowing them to lean back into the lanyard and work hands-free at elevation. The webbing construction provides durability and resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure encountered in construction, maintenance, tower climbing, utility, and industrial work at height environments.

The 6 ft length is a standard positioning lanyard length well suited for wrapping around utility poles, structural steel columns, tower legs, and similar structures of varying diameters while maintaining the worker in a stable and comfortable working position. This lanyard must be used as part of a complete fall protection system including a compatible full-body harness, appropriate anchor point, and a separate fall arrest system when there is any risk of a free fall.
