The 3M Protecta PRO Adjustable Web Positioning Lanyard is a fall protection accessory engineered for use in work positioning applications where a worker must be supported in a fixed position at height to perform tasks with both hands free. Unlike fall arrest lanyards which are designed to stop a fall after it occurs, a positioning lanyard is used to hold the worker in place against a structure or work surface, allowing them to lean back into the lanyard and work hands-free at elevation.

The adjustable web design allows the lanyard length to be set to the specific working position required, enabling the worker to position themselves at the correct distance from the anchor point or structure for the task at hand. This adjustability makes the lanyard versatile across a range of positioning applications and work configurations without requiring multiple fixed-length lanyards. The webbing construction provides durability and resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure encountered in construction, maintenance, and industrial work at height.
