The Coffing SLA Air Chain Hoist is a compact pneumatic lifting unit designed for workstations, production lines and general industrial material handling. These models have a single-reeved load-chain configuration, pendant throttle control and a 10 ft Lift. The 250 lb model provides a 33 FPM lifting speed, the 300 lb model provides a 30 FPM lifting speed and the 500 lb model provides a 20 FPM lifting speed. Each model operates at a recommended air pressure of 90 PSI.

The lightweight, rugged aluminum alloy frame houses a vane-type air motor, hardened steel gearing, a hardened steel oblique-lay liftwheel, a disc-type load brake and an internal muffler for quieter operation. A factory-set Protector overload clutch helps prevent the hoist from lifting dangerous overloads, while the hardened alloy steel link-type load chain provides the lifting connection between the liftwheel and lower hook.

The pendant throttle station controls lifting and lowering speed for accurate load positioning. Its three-tube control hose contains an internal aircraft-type wire rope that helps reduce strain on the hose connections. A quick-connect air inlet simplifies connection to the external air supply, while the latch-equipped upper hook allows the hoist to be suspended from a properly rated fixed support or trolley.
