Product Description

Product Description:
Chester PT manual geared trolleys provide controlled horizontal travel for compatible heavy-capacity hoists and suspended loads operating along overhead runway beams. The listed standard configurations include 16, 20, and 25 Ton capacities. A manually operated geared travel mechanism allows the operator to move the load in either direction without an electric or pneumatic trolley motor.

The hand-geared arrangement is suited to heavy loads, longer travel distances, and applications requiring more controlled positioning than a plain push trolley can provide. Pulling the operating hand chain transfers motion through the trolley gearing to the drive wheels, allowing gradual movement during equipment installation, machinery positioning, plant maintenance, fabrication, and other demanding material-handling operations.

The 16 and 20 Ton configurations fit beam flange widths from 6 to 8 in and a 12 in beam height. They have a 96 in minimum-radius curve, 11-11/16 in wheel-tread diameter, alloy cast iron wheels, and 12 in headroom. The 25 Ton configuration fits beam flange widths from 6 to 8 in and a 24 in beam height, with a 120 in minimum-radius curve, 13-1/2 in wheel-tread diameter, alloy cast iron wheels, and 14 in headroom.
