Product Description
Product Description:
CM Series 84A manual plain push trolleys are heavy-duty, industrial-grade beam-travel units designed to provide manually controlled horizontal movement for suspended hoists and loads. The configurations shown cover capacities from 1/4 to 20 Ton and include standard beam-fit models, wider-beam Series A and Series B models, and selected versions with stainless steel wheels. Manual push operation eliminates the need for a traverse motor, electrical controls, or hand-chain gearing, making these trolleys suitable for maintenance, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and general material-handling systems.
Heavy rolled steel side frames extend beyond the wheels to improve strength, rigidity, and protection around the track-wheel assemblies. Standard, Series A, and Series B configurations use fully machined, hardened alloy cast iron wheels, while the designated SS models use stainless steel wheels. Heat-treated alloy steel axles and equalizer pins support long wear life. Trolleys through 3 Ton use lifetime-lubricated precision ball bearings, while capacities of 4 Ton and greater use sealed tapered roller bearings with grease fittings to handle the higher radial and thrust loads.
Models from 1/4 through 12 Ton use universal wheel treads suitable for compatible flat or tapered beam flanges. The 16 and 20 Ton models are intended for compatible American Standard I-beams with tapered flanges. Standard models cover the manufacturer’s regular flange-width ranges, while Series A and Series B configurations provide progressively wider beam adjustment. Each trolley must be selected for the exact capacity, flange width, beam height, flange thickness, and minimum curve radius of the runway system.
