Product Description

Product Description:
CM Series 84A manual geared trolleys provide controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists and suspended loads operating along overhead runway beams. The listed configurations cover capacities from 1/4 to 8 Ton, with model-specific beam flange widths, beam heights, and minimum curve requirements. Manual geared operation is suitable for industrial applications requiring greater positioning control and lower operating effort than a plain push trolley.

The operator moves the trolley by pulling an operating hand chain, which transfers motion through the geared drive mechanism to the trolley wheels. This arrangement supports gradual forward and reverse movement without an electric or pneumatic traverse motor. Cast iron wheels provide durable contact with the runway beam for maintenance, fabrication, assembly, production, equipment installation, and general material-handling applications.

The 6 Ton model fits beam flanges from 4 to 7 in, beam heights from 8 to 24 in, and a 36 in minimum-radius curve. The 8 Ton model fits flanges from 4-5/8 to 8 in, beam heights from 10 to 24 in, and a 60 in minimum-radius curve. The 2 Ton model fits flanges from 3.33 to 6.25 in, beam heights from 6 to 18 in, and a 30 in minimum-radius curve. The 1/4 Ton model fits flanges from 2.66 to 5 in, beam heights from 4 to 12 in, and a 20 in minimum-radius curve.
