Chester swivel-truck precision-bearing manual plain trolleys provide manually controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists and suspended loads operating on overhead runway beams. The listed configurations cover capacities from 1/4 to 6 Ton, with capacity-specific beam flange ranges, beam heights, wheel-tread diameters, and minimum curve radii. Their push-type operation is suitable for industrial lifting systems where powered or hand-geared trolley travel is unnecessary.

The swivel-truck arrangement allows the wheel assemblies to follow the runway alignment as the trolley moves, supporting travel through compatible curved beam sections. Precision-bearing wheel assemblies promote smooth rolling and help reduce the force required to position a properly supported load. Horizontal movement is produced by manually pushing or pulling the suspended hoist and load, eliminating the need for a trolley motor, electrical controls, compressed-air supply, or operating hand chain.

The 1-1/2 and 2 Ton models fit 3-5/8 to 5-1/2 in flanges with a 6 in beam height, 19-1/2 in minimum-radius curve, and 6 in wheel-tread diameter. The 3 and 4 Ton models fit 4 to 7 in flanges with an 8 in beam height, 15-3/8 in minimum-radius curve, and 8 in wheel-tread diameter. The 5 and 6 Ton models fit 4-5/8 to 8 in flanges with a 10 in beam height, 33-7/8 in minimum-radius curve, and 9 in wheel-tread diameter.
