The Pewag XKW10 is a Grade 100 clevis shortening hook designed for use in overhead chain sling assemblies requiring in-line length adjustment without the need for additional shortening hardware. The pear-shaped (PC/O) clevis connection provides a stable, self-orienting attachment point that keeps the hook properly positioned within the sling leg during lifting operations. Manufactured from high-tensile alloy steel and rated to Grade 100 standards, the XKW10 delivers the working load limit and dimensional integrity required for reliable performance in demanding industrial lifting environments at the 3/8" chain size.

The clevis shortening hook allows the sling leg length to be adjusted by hooking back onto the chain at the desired link, effectively shortening the leg without cutting or permanently modifying the chain.
