CM Series 602 and 603 mini-ratchet lever hoists are compact, metric-rated manual hoists designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, and positioning loads in confined industrial work areas. The Series 602 provides a 550 lb load capacity with either a 5 or 10 ft Lift, while the Series 603 provides a 1,100 lb load capacity with the same two lift options. Their lightweight, portable construction and short operating lever make them suitable for one-handed operation where a conventional full-size lever hoist would be difficult to use.

An impact-resistant steel frame, gear case, and cover protect the internal drive and brake components during demanding use. The housing has a powder-coated finish for added corrosion resistance, while the hardened link-type alloy steel load chain is plated for additional protection. Series 602 models use zinc-plated load chain, and Series 603 models use a gold chromate-plated chain. Forged upper and lower swivel hooks are equipped with cast safety latches to help retain properly seated lifting attachments.

The free-chaining function allows unloaded chain to be positioned quickly before the lower hook is attached to the load. Once engaged, the enclosed Weston-type brake provides positive load control and precise positioning while helping protect the braking surfaces from dirt and moisture. All four configurations use single-strand reeving. Series 602 models have a 9-1/2 in minimum distance between hooks, a 53/64 in hook opening, a 6.3 in lever, and require approximately 56 lb of pull at rated load. Series 603 models have an 11-1/8 in minimum distance between hooks, a 1 in hook opening, a 6-3/8 in lever, and require approximately 78 lb of pull at rated load.
