Product Description
The CM ShopAir Air Chain Hoist is a compact pneumatic lifting solution designed for assembly, manufacturing, workstation and production-line applications. These hook-suspension models use a single-reeved load chain and provide a 10 ft Lift. The 300 lb models deliver a 31 FPM lifting speed and require approximately 36 SCFM, while the 500 lb models deliver a 21 FPM lifting speed and require approximately 38 SCFM. All four models operate at a normal air pressure of 90 PSI.
A variable-flow, two-lever pendant throttle provides responsive lifting and lowering control for precise positioning of suspended loads. The industrial-duty air motor supports demanding repetitive service, while durable reduction gearing and a lifetime-lubricated gear train contribute to dependable operation. A factory-set Protector overload device helps prevent the hoist from lifting loads that exceed its intended operating range.
The single-reeved configuration connects the hardened alloy steel load chain directly between the liftwheel and lower hook. A 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel promotes smooth chain engagement and helps reduce chain wear. The rugged cast aluminum alloy frame is protected by a durable epoxy powder-coated finish, while hardened forged steel latch hooks provide secure load attachment. The lower hook rotates 360° to help align the load and reduce twisting during positioning.
