Product Description

The CM ShopAir Air Chain Hoist is a compact pneumatic lifting unit designed for assembly, manufacturing, workstation and production-line applications. These hook-suspended models feature a double-reeved load chain and 10 ft Lift, with capacities of either 600 lb or 1000 lb. Their portable, lightweight design makes them suitable for repetitive industrial lifting where fast operation and precise load positioning are required.

A variable-flow, two-lever pendant throttle gives the operator responsive control over lifting and lowering for accurate load spotting. The 600 lb model provides a lifting speed of 16 FPM and requires approximately 39 SCFM, while the 1000 lb model lifts at 11 FPM and requires approximately 34 SCFM. Both operate at a recommended pressure of 90 PSI and use a 3/8 in NPTF air inlet with a 1/2 in ID supply hose.

The ShopAir design incorporates a Protector overload device, durable reduction gearing and a 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel intended to promote smooth chain engagement and extended chain life. A rugged cast aluminum alloy frame and epoxy powder-coated exterior provide durable protection, while hardened forged steel latch hooks support secure load attachment. The threaded external exhaust can be connected to piping to direct discharged air away from clean work areas or painting operations.
