Product Description

The CM Valustar Model WL Electric Chain Hoist is a compact powered lifting unit designed for general commercial material-handling applications. These single-reeved models provide a 1 Ton capacity, 16 FPM lifting speed and one-speed control. Available configurations include 10, 15 and 20 ft Lift options with either 115 VAC single-phase or 230/460 VAC three-phase power. Model WL provides 15-9/16 in minimum headroom and a 1-1/8 in hook opening.

The fully machined and heat-treated liftwheel works with hardened chain guides to promote smooth chain travel and reduce load-chain wear. CM Hoistaloy load chain supports dependable operation, while the fully machined and heat-treated gear train is permanently lubricated with non-oxidizing grease for reduced maintenance and extended service life. An enclosed hoist-duty motor protects the drive components during regular commercial service.

A heavy-duty caliper-type AC brake combines with regenerative braking to provide controlled stopping while limiting heat generation within the power train. The standard overload Protector device helps prevent lifting beyond the rated capacity, while the rugged NEMA 4 control station supports reliable one-speed operation. Single-phase models are rated for H3 duty, while three-phase models are rated for H4 duty.
