The CM Lodestar Model A Electric Chain Hoist is designed for frequent industrial lifting and controlled positioning of lighter suspended loads. These single-reeved models have a 0.125 Ton capacity, 32 FPM lifting speed and 1/4 hp motor. The configurations shown provide 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options with 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 460 VAC or reconnectable 230/460 VAC electrical arrangements. Most use one-speed control, while two 10 ft Lift models are equipped with VFD control.

The Lodestar platform uses a compact aluminum housing with a lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox and precision gearing for efficient operation with reduced routine maintenance. A five-pocket liftwheel improves engagement between the liftwheel and load chain, promoting smoother lifting, reduced vibration and longer chain life. Zinc-plated Star Grade load chain provides added corrosion protection for industrial service.

The listed NH configurations use a heavy-duty DC brake designed for long service life and convenient inspection. An externally accessible overload clutch is positioned outside the load path to help protect the lifting mechanism while maintaining load security. The accessible electrical control panel uses finger-safe wiring and plug-and-play connections to simplify inspection, voltage changes and electrical servicing.
