The CM Lodestar Model F Electric Chain Hoist is designed for frequent industrial lifting, repetitive production work and controlled positioning of suspended loads. These models have a 0.5 Ton capacity, single-reeved load-chain configuration, 16 FPM lifting speed and 1/2 hp motor. The configurations shown provide 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options with 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 460 VAC or reconnectable 230/460 VAC power. Most models use one-speed control, while selected NH configurations use VFD control for greater operating flexibility.

The Lodestar NH design provides quieter operation, easier access to service components and reduced routine maintenance. A heavy-duty DC brake supports controlled stopping and load holding, while the lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox eliminates routine oil changes. The five-pocket liftwheel improves engagement with the load chain for smoother lifting, reduced vibration and longer chain life.

Lodestar Classic models use the established compact aluminum-frame design for dependable overhead lifting in manufacturing, maintenance and material-handling applications. The overload clutch helps protect the lifting mechanism, while precision gearing and durable load-chain components support repeated service. Both NH and Classic configurations can be combined with compatible suspension and trolley arrangements for fixed lifting or horizontal movement along an overhead beam.
