The CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoist is designed for demanding industrial lifting, repeated production cycles and controlled positioning of suspended loads. These single-reeved models range from 0.125 Ton to 1 Ton capacities and include lifting heights from 10 to 20 ft. Available configurations include single-speed and two-speed operation, NEMA 4X control stations and electrical options for 115 VAC, 230 VAC, 460 VAC and reconnectable 230/460 VAC service.

The Lodestar uses a compact aluminum housing with hardened internal gearing and a lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox, eliminating routine gearbox oil changes. A precision five-pocket liftwheel provides improved engagement with the load chain for smoother lifting, reduced vibration and less component wear. Zinc-plated Star Grade load chain provides added corrosion resistance, while forged latch-equipped hooks support secure suspension and load attachment.

An overload clutch positioned outside the load path helps protect the lifting mechanism without relying on clutch friction to hold the suspended load when the brake is not powered. The accessible control panel uses finger-safe wiring and plug-and-play connections to simplify voltage changes, fuse installation and electrical servicing. Depending on the selected model, the hoist can be installed with a compatible hook, lug or trolley suspension as part of an individual workstation or complete overhead lifting system.
