The Crosby S-2 Jaw & Jaw Swivel is designed for lifting and rigging applications requiring smooth rotation under load while minimizing wire rope twist and torque buildup. Featuring tapered roller thrust bearing technology, the S-2 swivel improves operational efficiency, reliability, and wire rope service life in demanding industrial environments.
Engineered for frequent rotation under load, the S-2 provides dependable performance for crane, marine, offshore, and heavy lifting applications where controlled swivel movement and secure load alignment are essential.

Bearing: Equipped with a tapered roller thrust bearing and suitable for frequent rotation under load.

Design Factor: 5:1.

Proof Test: Individually proof tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit.

Jaw Connection: Jaw ends provide clevis-style connections at both ends of the swivel.

Wire Rope: Crosby specifies 1/2 in, 5/8 in, 3/4 in, 7/8 in and 1 in wire rope sizes for the 3 through 15 ton models respectively. The larger 25, 35 and 45 ton models do not list a wire rope size.
