Product Description

The CM Lodestar Model AA Electric Chain Hoist is a high-speed powered lifting unit designed for frequent industrial material handling and controlled positioning of lighter suspended loads. These models have a 0.125 Ton capacity, single-reeved load-chain configuration, 60 FPM lifting speed, one-speed control and 1/2 hp motor. The configurations shown provide 10, 15 or 20 ft Lift options with either 115 VAC single-phase or 230/460 VAC three-phase power.

The NH configurations use a heavy-duty DC brake designed for long service life and convenient inspection. Their compact construction is engineered for high duty cycles, quieter operation and easier access to internal electrical and mechanical components. A lifetime grease-lubricated gearbox reduces routine maintenance requirements, while an overload clutch helps protect the lifting mechanism against excessive loading.

The Classic configurations use the established Lodestar design for reliable overhead lifting in production, assembly and maintenance environments. Precision gearing and a machined liftwheel promote smooth load-chain engagement, while forged latch-equipped hooks provide durable suspension and load connections. The hoists may be installed with compatible hook, lug or trolley suspension arrangements as individual units or as part of a complete overhead lifting system.
