The CM ET Lodestar Electric Chain Hoist is designed for entertainment rigging, overhead lifting and synchronized multi-hoist systems. These direct-control, less-chain configurations operate on 230/460 VAC and provide a 60 ft lifting height with one-speed operation. The models shown range from 0.25 Ton to 2 Ton capacities, with lifting speeds of either 16 or 32 FPM depending on the selected model.

The Lodestar platform uses a lightweight aluminum frame with an alloy steel liftwheel, hardened steel chain guides, hardened steel gearing and forged steel hooks. Lifetime-lubricated gearing supports dependable operation with reduced routine maintenance, while the integrated Load Limiter helps protect the lifting mechanism against excessive loading. A hoist-duty motor and rugged braking system provide controlled stopping and load holding during overhead lifting operations.

The direct-control design can be incorporated into a system containing multiple hoists operated through a compatible centralized motor controller. This arrangement is commonly used for coordinated movement of lighting, audio, scenic and production equipment. Because these units are identified as less-chain configurations, the correct load chain, suspension and chain-storage components must be matched to the selected model and installation requirements.
