Product Description

The CM Cyclone Hand Chain Hoist is a manually operated industrial lifting unit designed for controlled handling of heavy loads without electrical or pneumatic power. These 10 Ton models feature a five-reeved load-chain configuration and a 10 ft Lift. Product 4532 includes an army-type plain trolley, product 4552 includes an army-type geared trolley and product 4632 uses rigid hook suspension.

The army-type trolley configurations integrate the hoist with rugged steel loadbars and universal-tread trolley wheels for movement along a suitable overhead beam. The plain trolley is moved by pushing or pulling the suspended load, while the geared trolley uses a separate hand chain for controlled horizontal travel. Their compact arrangement reduces headroom, side clearance and end approach, making the trolley-mounted models suitable for moving heavy loads through restricted overhead spaces.

An enclosed, contoured Weston-type automatic brake provides positive load control during lifting, holding and lowering. High-efficiency spur gearing reduces the effort needed to raise the load, while fully machined forged liftwheel pockets promote smooth load-chain engagement. The frame and covers use high-strength aluminum alloy castings, and the rugged hoist alloy chain is designed for demanding lifting service.
