The CM Cyclone Hand Chain Hoist is a manually operated heavy-duty lifting unit designed for controlled handling of loads up to 12 Ton. This model combines a six-reeved hoist with an army-type plain trolley and a 10 ft Lift, allowing the load to be raised, lowered and manually moved along a properly rated overhead beam without electrical or pneumatic power.

The Cyclone design uses high-efficiency spur gearing to reduce the operating effort required to lift heavy loads. Fully machined forged liftwheel pockets promote smooth load-chain engagement, while an enclosed contoured Weston-type automatic brake provides positive load holding and controlled lowering. High-strength aluminum alloy frame and cover castings combine with rugged hoist alloy chain for durable industrial service.

The integrated plain trolley uses rugged steel loadbars connected directly to the hoist frame and universal-tread wheels designed for operation on compatible flat or sloped flange beams. Model 4533 accommodates beam depths from 15 to 24 in and flange widths from 5-1/2 to 8 in. It requires 95 lb of hand-chain pull to raise the rated load and has a minimum curve radius of 96 in.
