Product Description

The Caldwell Model EB-40 Forklift Boom is a forklift attachment engineered to extend the reach and lifting capability of a forklift beyond the tips of the forks, enabling the forklift to lift and position loads in locations that are inaccessible to the forks directly. The boom mounts to the forklift forks, providing a stable and secure platform that transfers the load through the forks to the forklift mast and carriage. A hook at the end of the boom provides the load attachment point, allowing the forklift to handle loads fitted with lifting lugs, eye bolts, shackles, or other hook-compatible attachment hardware.

The EB-40 is well suited for reaching over obstacles, into confined spaces, or to positions where direct fork access is not possible, such as placing equipment over machinery guards, setting loads into recessed areas, or positioning materials in locations with restricted access. As a fixed-length boom, the EB-40 provides a consistent and defined reach distance, making it well suited for repetitive lifting tasks where a consistent boom extension is required and the load placement location is fixed relative to the forklift position.

As a Caldwell product, the Model EB-40 is built to the dimensional and performance standards associated with the Caldwell line of forklift attachments and below-the-hook lifting devices.
