Product Description

The Caldwell Telescopic Fork Boom is a forklift attachment engineered to extend the reach of a forklift beyond the tips of the forks, enabling the forklift to lift and position loads in locations that are inaccessible to the forks directly. The telescopic design allows the boom length to be extended or retracted within its range, providing adjustable reach to accommodate varied load placement requirements without repositioning the forklift. A hook at the end of the boom provides the load attachment point, allowing the forklift to handle loads fitted with lifting lugs, eye bolts, shackles, or other hook-compatible attachment hardware.

The telescopic fork boom is particularly well suited for reaching over obstacles, into confined spaces, or to elevated positions where direct fork access is not possible, such as placing equipment over machinery guards, setting loads into recessed areas, or positioning materials on elevated platforms or mezzanines. The ability to adjust the boom extension allows the operator to optimize the reach for each specific lift, balancing load capacity against extension length in accordance with the boom's rated capacity at each extension position.
