Product Description

CM Lodestar XL motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible double-reeved Lodestar XL electric chain hoists. The listed configurations cover 3, 4, and 5 Ton capacities, with travel-speed options of 9, 12, or 15 FPM. Motorized operation supports controlled forward and reverse movement along overhead runway beams without requiring the operator to push the suspended load or use a trolley hand chain.

All listed configurations fit beam flange widths from 4 to 6-1/4 in. The 3 Ton models have a 4 ft minimum-radius curve, 4 in wheel-tread diameter, and 9-1/8 in headroom to the shaft. The 4 and 5 Ton models have a 6 ft minimum-radius curve, 6-1/2 in wheel-tread diameter, and 12 in headroom to the shaft.

These powered trolleys are suited to production, fabrication, assembly, machinery installation, maintenance, and other industrial applications requiring repeatable horizontal movement of heavy suspended loads. The selected trolley must be matched to the Lodestar XL hoist capacity, double-reeving arrangement, beam dimensions, desired travel speed, electrical configuration, and required operating clearances.
