The 3M DBI-SALA® Chain & Rebar Positioning Lanyard is a purpose-built work positioning device designed for ironworkers, concrete workers, and other trades professionals who require a durable and reliable positioning lanyard for rebar and structural steel applications. Constructed from extremely durable twist link chain, this lanyard is engineered to withstand the abrasion, impact, and rough handling conditions encountered in rebar tying, concrete forming, and structural steel erection — environments where web or cable lanyards would be subject to accelerated wear and damage.

At 26-1/2 in (0.67 m) in length, this lanyard is sized for close-proximity work positioning, allowing the worker to lean back against the lanyard and maintain a stable, hands-free working position while performing tasks on elevated structures, rebar mats, or steel frameworks. Work positioning lanyards of this type are a fundamental component of ironworker fall protection systems, used in conjunction with a full body harness and a separate fall arrest system to keep the worker positioned at the work face.
