The Pewag VMW10 is an enlarged quad master link assembly consisting of one MW26 enlarged master link and two BW20 connecting links, supplied as a pre-assembled unit. This assembly is designed to serve as the top connection component in multi-leg chain sling configurations, providing a ready-to-use master link assembly that integrates the enlarged master link and connecting link components into a single, matched set. The MW26 enlarged master link provides the primary connection point to the crane hook, with its enlarged opening accommodating a wider range of hook throat sizes than a standard master link of the same chain size. The two BW20 connecting links attach the individual sling legs to the master link assembly, distributing the load across the legs of the sling. Together, the three components form a complete top fitting assembly engineered to Pewag's specifications for use in quad and multi-leg chain sling configurations requiring an enlarged master link at the top connection point.
This master link assembly is suited for use in heavy-duty multi-leg chain sling applications in fabrication, construction, steel processing, shipyard, and general industrial lifting environments. As with all overhead lifting hardware, the VMW10 assembly must be inspected before each use for signs of wear, elongation, deformation, cracking, or corrosion on all three components, and must be operated within its rated working load limit in full compliance with applicable lifting standards and site safety requirements.
