The Pewag Connex Master Link with XK Shortener is a welded, pre-assembled lifting component that combines a master link with an integrated XK-style chain shortener into a single unit for use in overhead chain sling applications. This welded assembly eliminates the need for separate shortening hooks or loose components, providing a compact and secure method of adjusting chain sling leg length directly at the master link. The welded construction ensures the components remain positively connected throughout the lift, reducing the risk of accidental disassembly during rigging operations.

Designed as part of the Pewag Connex chain sling system, this assembly integrates seamlessly with compatible Pewag Grade 100 chain and rigging hardware. The XK shortener allows the operator to take up slack in the chain leg and lock it at a shorter working length, enabling precise load positioning and improved sling geometry control without requiring additional shortening devices.
