Product Description

Budgit hand-geared rigid-suspension trolleys provide controlled horizontal travel for compatible hoists operating along overhead runway beams. The listed configurations include a 1 Ton trolley for beam flange widths from 5-1/4 to 7-3/8 in and two 2 Ton trolleys covering flange widths from 3-3/8 to 6 in and 6-1/4 to 8-7/8 in. These adjustment ranges allow the appropriate trolley to be selected for different runway-beam dimensions.

The rigid-suspension arrangement connects a compatible hoist directly to the trolley instead of using an intermediate suspension hook. This compact mounting style helps reduce the distance between the supporting beam and the hoist, making it useful for installations where available headroom is limited. The trolley must be matched to the hoist capacity, suspension connection, beam flange width, and required running clearance.

Horizontal movement is controlled by pulling the trolley hand chain, which transfers motion through the geared travel mechanism to the trolley wheels. This provides more precise positioning than a plain push trolley and reduces the effort required to move suspended loads over longer travel distances. Manual geared operation does not require an electric motor, pneumatic supply, or powered trolley control system.
