Product Description

Budgit standard geared air motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible pneumatic hoists installed on overhead runway beams. The listed configurations include a combined 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Ton model operating at 50 FPM and separate 2 and 3 Ton models operating at 60 FPM. Pneumatic operation makes these trolleys suitable for production, maintenance and material-handling systems where compressed air is the preferred power source.

The air motor transfers power through the geared drive mechanism to move the trolley wheels along the supporting beam. Powered travel reduces the manual effort required to reposition suspended loads and provides more consistent movement than a push-type trolley. The system supports controlled forward and reverse travel for load positioning during equipment installation, fabrication, assembly and other industrial operations.

The 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Ton configuration fits beam flange widths from 3 to 5 in and can negotiate a 3 ft minimum-radius curve. The 2 Ton configuration fits beam flanges from 3-5/8 to 6-1/4 in, while the 3 Ton configuration fits beam flanges from 4 to 6-1/4 in. Both larger models require a 5 ft minimum-radius curve. All three configurations use a 4 in wheel-tread diameter and forged, heat-treated trolley wheels for durable beam travel.
