Product Description
Budgit spark/corrosion-resistant air motor-driven trolleys provide powered horizontal travel for compatible pneumatic hoists operating on overhead runway beams. The listed geared configurations cover 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 2 Ton loads. The lower-capacity trolley operates at 50 FPM, while the 1 and 2 Ton models operate at 60 FPM. Compressed-air operation makes these trolleys suitable for industrial systems where pneumatic power is preferred over an electrically driven travel mechanism.
The pneumatic motor transfers power through the geared trolley drive to move the suspended hoist and load along the supporting beam. Powered travel reduces the manual effort required to reposition loads and supports more consistent movement during production, maintenance, fabrication and equipment-installation work. The spark/corrosion-resistant construction is intended to reduce spark potential from designated trolley components while providing added protection in damp, corrosive or demanding operating environments.
The 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4 Ton configuration fits beam flange widths from 3 to 5 in, travels at 50 FPM and can negotiate a 3 ft minimum-radius curve. The 1 Ton configuration fits flange widths from 3-5/8 to 6-1/4 in, while the 2 Ton configuration fits flange widths from 4 to 6-1/4 in. Both larger models travel at 60 FPM and require a 5 ft minimum-radius curve. All three configurations have a 4 in wheel-tread diameter.
