Product Description

Yale PE2 ratchet lever hoists are lightweight, manually operated link-chain hoists designed for pulling, lifting, dragging, stretching, tensioning, and positioning loads. The listed configurations include 3/4, 1-1/2, and 3 Ton capacities with lifting heights from 5 to 25 ft. Their portable hook-suspended construction is suitable for heavy-duty construction, industrial maintenance, fabrication, equipment installation, and field rigging applications.

The frame and housing are manufactured from durable aluminum alloy and protected by a powder-coated finish. Weatherproof construction supports outdoor service, while Hoistaloy hardened steel link-type load chain provides strength, flexibility, and resistance to wear. Forged upper and lower hooks include safety latches and swivel through 360 degrees to simplify alignment with properly rated suspension points and lifting attachments.

A weatherized Weston-type automatic brake provides positive load control, while the free-wheeling chain adjustment lever allows unloaded chain to be moved quickly for faster hook positioning. All primary controls face the operator for convenient one-handed use. The 3/4 Ton models have a 10-3/4 in minimum distance between hooks, a 1-1/32 in hook opening, and require approximately 58 lb of pull at rated load. The 1-1/2 Ton models have a 14-1/4 in minimum distance between hooks, a 1-1/8 in hook opening, and require approximately 89 lb of pull. The 3 Ton model uses two-strand reeving, has a 16-15/16 in minimum distance between hooks and a 1-7/32 in hook opening, and requires approximately 95 lb of pull. The 3 Ton specifications are confirmed for Yale part number 931-09108-5.
