The Budgit Shophoist Electric Chain Hoist is a compact powered lifting unit designed for commercial and industrial material handling. These single-reeved models provide a 10 ft Lift and are available in 250 lb, 300 lb, 500 lb and 1000 lb capacities. Depending on the selected model, lifting speeds range from 6 to 40 FPM, allowing the hoist to support both controlled load positioning and faster repetitive lifting applications.

The Shophoist uses a rugged cast aluminum alloy frame and a compact, lightweight design that supports straightforward installation and maintenance. Its thermally protected hoist-duty motor is paired with a lifetime-lubricated gear train, while the 10-pocket oblique-lay liftwheel promotes smooth chain engagement and helps reduce load-chain wear. An epoxy powder-coated exterior provides additional protection in shop, assembly and production environments.

A one-speed control system provides consistent lifting and lowering operation, while the dual DC and regenerative braking arrangement supports controlled stopping and load holding. A standard Protector overload device helps guard the hoist against excessive loading, and the industrial control station is designed for demanding commercial service. The single-reeved arrangement provides a direct load-chain path for compact low-capacity lifting applications.
