Product Description

The Petzl VERTEX® Canadian Version (SKU A010BA01) is a comfortable and versatile work-at-height helmet certified to CSA Z94.1 Type I Class E, ANSI Z89.1 Type I Class E, CE EN 397, EN 12492, EN 50365, and EAC standards, making it well suited for use across Canadian and North American industrial, construction, and rope access environments. The yellow color is one of the most widely recognized high-visibility helmet colors on the job site, commonly associated with general workers and construction personnel, and provides excellent visibility in low-light and busy work environments. The VERTEX® is one of Petzl's most widely used professional helmets, trusted by rope access technicians, arborists, rescue professionals, and industrial workers worldwide for its combination of comfort, durability, and accessory compatibility.

Constructed from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), nylon, polycarbonate, high-density polyester, and polyethylene, the VERTEX® is engineered to provide reliable impact and electrical protection while remaining lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. The helmet features an adjustable suspension system that accommodates a wide range of head sizes, and is compatible with a broad range of Petzl accessories including headlamps, visors, ear defenders, and chin straps, making it a highly adaptable platform for diverse work-at-height applications. The EN 50365 certification confirms its suitability for use in environments with low-voltage electrical hazard exposure.

The VERTEX® Canadian Version is backed by a 3-year guarantee from Petzl. As with all head protection equipment, the VERTEX® should be inspected before each use for signs of impact damage, cracking, UV degradation, or deformation, and replaced immediately if it has sustained a significant impact or shows any signs of structural compromise, regardless of visible damage.
