CM Bandit 3/4 Ton ratchet lever hoists are compact, manually operated tools designed for lifting, lowering, pulling, tensioning, and positioning industrial loads. These less-chain configurations allow the required load-chain length to be selected separately for the intended application. Their lightweight, portable design is well suited to maintenance, construction, fabrication, equipment installation, and rigging work in confined or obstructed areas.

An impact-resistant stamped steel housing protects the internal gearing and braking components during demanding use. Double-reduction gearing reduces the effort required at the operating handle, while the screwed-on rubber grip provides a secure handhold. The handle rotates through 360 degrees, allowing the hoist to be operated from different positions when nearby machinery or structural members limit the available movement.

The free-chaining system permits rapid positioning of unloaded slack chain after the correct chain assembly has been installed. An enclosed Weston-type load brake helps keep the braking surfaces clean and dry while providing controlled load positioning. Upper and lower swivel hooks feature wide throat openings and safety latches. Specified load-limiter configurations allow the operating handle to rotate without lifting an overload sufficient to damage the hoist.
