Product Description

CM Bandit ratchet lever hoists are compact, manually operated lifting and pulling tools designed for industrial maintenance, construction, fabrication, machinery positioning, tensioning, and rigging applications. These less-chain configurations are available in 1-1/2, 3, and 6 Ton capacities and allow the required load-chain length to be selected separately for the application. The portable design can be used in multiple operating positions and is particularly suitable for confined work areas where clearance around the hoist is limited.

The frame, covers, and operating lever are manufactured from impact-resistant steel stampings, with heat-treated steel gearing and forged steel upper and lower hooks. A powder-coated housing and zinc-plated major components provide additional corrosion protection. The comfort-fit operating handle includes a secured rubber grip and rotates through 360 degrees, while double-reduction gearing reduces the manual effort required to lift or pull the rated load.

Easy free chaining permits rapid positioning of unloaded slack chain after the correct load-chain assembly has been installed. The enclosed Weston-type load brake helps keep its braking surfaces protected from dirt and moisture while providing positive load holding and controlled positioning. Specific BAN150LCXLL, BAN150LCXLLS, and BAN600LCXLL configurations include the optional internal load limiter, which allows the handle to rotate without lifting an overload sufficient to damage the hoist.
