Product Description: The Tractel Phoenix Shock-Absorbing Lanyard is a 6 ft web single-leg lanyard designed for use in personal fall arrest systems in construction, industrial, and working-at-height applications. The lanyard features a shock pack energy absorber that deploys during a fall event, significantly reducing the peak arrest force transmitted to the worker's body. The shock pack end is fitted with a 3/4 in self-locking snap hook for connection to a compatible dorsal D-ring on a full-body harness, while the opposite end is equipped with a 2-1/4 in self-locking snap hook for secure attachment to an anchorage point or horizontal lifeline.

The web construction provides durability and flexibility across a wide range of working conditions. Both self-locking snap hooks engage automatically upon closure and require a deliberate two-step action to release, reducing the risk of accidental disengagement during use. At 2.6 lb, this single-leg configuration is lighter and more compact than the Y-lanyard version, making it well suited for applications where 100% tie-off is not required and where minimizing carried weight is a priority.

Certified to CSA Z259.11-05 (2010) as Class E4 or Class E6, the Phoenix lanyard is rated for users with a capacity of 196–420 lb (CAP 196-420 S), covering a broad range of worker weights including tools and equipment. It is intended for use as part of a complete personal fall arrest system in conjunction with a certified full-body harness and compatible anchorage connector. Inspect before each use and retire from service following any fall arrest event or per manufacturer inspection intervals.
