Product Description: The Tractel Phoenix Shock-Absorbing Lanyard is a 6 ft web Y-lanyard designed for use in personal fall arrest systems in construction, industrial, and working-at-height applications. The lanyard features a shock pack energy absorber that deploys during a fall event, significantly reducing the peak arrest force transmitted to the worker's body. The shock pack is fitted with a 3/4 in snap hook for connection to a compatible dorsal D-ring on a full-body harness, while each arm of the Y-configuration is equipped with a 2-1/4 in self-locking snap hook for secure attachment to anchorage points or horizontal lifelines.

The web construction provides durability and flexibility across a wide range of working conditions, and the Y-lanyard configuration allows the worker to maintain 100% tie-off when transitioning between anchor points — a critical requirement on many job sites. The self-locking snap hooks on each arm engage automatically upon closure and require a deliberate two-step action to release, reducing the risk of accidental disengagement during use.

Certified to CSA Z259.11-05 (2010) as Class E4 or Class E6, the Phoenix lanyard is rated for users with a capacity of 196–420 lb (CAP 196-420 S), covering a broad range of worker weights including tools and equipment.
